African
wildlife is the inspiration behind George's original art.

| From
her mid teens George has had a fascination with elephants in general
and African elephants in particular. Using her preferred medium, graphite,
allows George to represent the intricate detail of an elephant's skin. |

| During
2003 and 2004 George spent a year in southern Africa researching,
drawing and photographing elephants. During this time, and caused by
many encounters with wild animals, her interest diversified and she began
drawing and collecting images of rhinos, giraffes, wild cats, zebras,
monkeys and boks. Since returning to her native U.K. she has used these
images to create a stunning collection of African inspired artwork. |
